Good evening, this is Executive Principal Scott Wilson contacting our grades 9 through 12 families with an informational message.
Next week is Red Ribbon Week. Red Ribbon Week’s goal is to promote a healthy, drug free lifestyle. Students have the opportunity to show their support through dress-up days and will have access to activities throughout the week. One activity includes participating in the Monroe County Youth Risk Behavior Survey. The bi-annual survey is designed and validated by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and is conducted throughout the country to monitor six categories of health-related behaviors that contribute to the leading causes of death and disability among youth and adults. Completing the survey poses no risk to your child and conducted in a manner to assure your child’s privacy. Participation is voluntary and anonymous.
If you have any questions regarding the survey or if you would prefer that your child not participate in the survey please contact the High School main office at 293-4540 extension 2840 by Monday, October 25th at 9:00 a.m.
