This message is to inform you that two high school students have tested positive for COVID-19. One student is full remote and the other is hybrid; therefore, no close contacts have been identified in school. The students have been placed into isolation and will not return to school until they have been released by the Monroe County Department of Public Health. No further action by the district was recommended. The cases from today have been submitted into the COVID-19 School Report Card database.
Please continue to monitor your child each day for symptoms of COVID-19 and complete the daily health screening using the PikMyKid app. If your child develops COVID-19 symptoms, please contact your child’s healthcare provider as soon as possible.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we continue to focus upon our safety protocols of wearing a mask, committing to regular handwashing, and remaining socially distanced.
