This message is to inform you that one student from the Chestnut Ridge School has tested positive for COVID-19. No close contacts have been identified in school by the Monroe County Department of Public Health. This individual has been placed in isolation and will not return to school until they have been released by the MCDPH. No further action by the district was recommended.
We appreciate the help and support of our school community as we strive to keep our schools open. Please remember to wear a mask, wash your hands, and stay socially distanced.
Thank you, as well, to our CRS families and staff for participating in the COVID-19 rapid testing process. We are well on our way to meeting the weekly testing requirement and our results are well below the county daily COVID-19 average!
