Students in teacher Nancy Amory's 7th-grade CTE/FACS classes have made 48 whimsical pillowcases for children in need over the past two years. These beautiful pillowcases have been washed, sanitized and placed in individual plastic zip-lock bags for health and safety reasons. They were recently donated to the Ronald McDonald House. The 24-bedroom Ronald McDonald House Charities of Rochester provides a “home-away-from-home” to families while their children receive the medical care they need. Thanks to our creative and caring students, their visitors will enjoy these especially soft and comforting pillowcases.
Amazing job everyone - and congratulations on sharing your talents with others in our community.
