Dance

The Department of Fine Arts and the Department of Health, PE & Athletics work collaboratively in support of our Dance Program.  Students enrolled in dance are taught in a professional studio located on campus in the Senior High School.  Dance students are provided various opportunities to perform including a dance recital at year’s end.  Enrollment and participation meet the New York State requirements for Physical Education Credit.

5-Unit Arts Sequence

Students may substitute a 5-unit sequence in the Arts for the 3-unit foreign language requirement to earn a Regents diploma-advanced designation. See your school counselor for more information. If you have questions or would like more information about the Fine Arts Department please contact Jeff SmithDirector of Fine Arts.
