Middle School

Attention MS families:
This school year has brought many challenges. Given all of the changes we face, we want to bring your attention to the topic of your child’s attendance.  In the event of an absence from school (Virtual or In-Person) we ask that a parent or guardian notify the school attendance office on the morning of an absence by emailing our attendance clerk, Mrs. Calus at [email protected] or calling 293-4542 x 3500 by 9:00 a.m. Again, this protocol remains the same for both in person (Hybrid) and remote students. Parents should continue to report attendance using this procedure. Please Note: If a student who regularly attends the hybrid model and needs to stay home but will attend remotely please make us aware of that change.  If we do not hear from you, a phone call has to be made home as to why the student is not in school and they will be marked as an illegal absence from school. Thank you for your support and corporation. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact attendance at x3500.

BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION - Please continue to save your box tops!  Box tops may be dropped off to the house offices or in your student's focus room. Funds earned through this program are used to purchase classroom supplies, offset cost of field trips and fund school agendas.  PLEASE NOTE: Box Tops are changing out to a new program. Throughout the next several years the actual clipping of box tops will no longer take place.  All that will be needed is to scan your receipt and elcetronically send through to Box Tops.  Please visit www.boxtops4education.com  for more information. Thank you for your support!

MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS EMAIL UPDATE: We are excited to inform you that we have re-established our eNews function with the eSchoolView product, BrightArrow. All users will need to re-register in this new system. This will allow you the flexibility to edit and update your own alert subscriptions and contact information. Please follow this link to the BrightArrow Portal Login and select “Register New User.” You will be asked to input any email addresses or cell phone numbers where you would like to receive alerts and updates, and select each group from whom you would like to receive messages. Please note that building-level information and/or daily announcements will be sent from your building’s General Info Alerts list. You will use this same BrightArrow link anytime you want to make changes to your contact information or subscriptions. This link is also posted on our district website under Subscribe to eNews. Please note that if you do opt to receive text messages they will come from a phone number you do not recognize. Each message will begin by stating which group or building is texting you. In addition, text messages from each group in our system will come from the same phone number. Please keep this in mind when saving the number to your contacts. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we continue to improve our communication tools. Please contact [email protected]  with any questions or concerns.
