Universal PreKindergarten

CCCSD Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK) 

Churchville-Chili Central School District provides a Universal Prekindergarten (UPK) program at no cost to district families. The 2026-27 program will support children who will be 4 years old on or before December 1, 2026. 

The full-day UPK program will run five days a week and will follow the Churchville-Chili School calendar.

Selection for the program is based upon a random lottery drawing for each building. We cannot guarantee placement at a specific school, as there are a limited number of spaces available at each building.

Families must complete an online UPK lottery application that will be posted and open on November 10, 2025. In order to be considered, the district must receive a completed online application by 5:30 p.m. on January 30, 2026.

A live-streamed lottery will take place on February 5, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. announcing those selected. Our lottery is random; all applications received, whether the first hour they are submitted or just before deadline, will have an equal chance. 

All applicants will be notified through email by February 9, 2026, with their building placement or position on the waitlist. Families selected during this process will receive additional information to complete the registration process. 

*Please note- completing the lottery application DOES NOT guarantee acceptance in this program. Parents on the waitlist will be notified should a space become available.
