ParentSquare

CCCSD is transitioning to ParentSquare!

Clear and timely communication helps students succeed. Over the past year, the district reviewed how we share information with families. This work led us to choose ParentSquare as our new, districtwide communication platform. ParentSquare brings school, classroom, and district messages into one place. 

Families are currently receiving attendance notices, mass messages, and urgent alerts through ParentSquare messaging. Families may download the ParentSquare app now and view any messages or alerts that have been sent. 

The full launch of ParentSquare will take place at the start of the 2026–27 school year. At that time, families and staff will have access to all features in the platform. 

When fully launched, ParentSquare will support: 

  • Attendance notifications and alerts (launched November 2025) 

  • School and district messages (launched January 2026)  

  • Classroom and teacher communication 

  • Direct messaging with two-way translation 

  • Forms, permission slips, and sign-ups 

  • Calendars, RSVPs, and conference scheduling 

  • Volunteer and supply sign-ups 

  • Photo and file sharing 

  • StudentSquare for student communication  

To prepare for the full launch, staff will take part in training this spring. Families will also have opportunities to learn more. We will share short videos, guides, and other resources to help families feel ready and confident using ParentSquare. 

Over the summer, families will receive an activation email. Families who do not activate an account will still receive messages by email, text, and phone. Families who activate an account will be able to message teachers, sign forms, manage preferences, and take advantage of all features.

Calls will now come directly from your child’s school or the main district phone number. Please save these numbers so you recognize them when calls come through.

Staying Informed

Now is also a good time to make sure your contact information is up to date in the parent portal and update if outdated. To update within Parent Portal, you will log into your account, click on the account information icon in the top right of the screen, then select "Settings" followed by "Contact Preferences." Once within Contact Preferences, you will be able to update your phone number and email address. This is also where families can update their preferred language, as ParentSquare has the capacity to translate messages in your preferred language.
