Three Saints teams win Sectional titles!
Three Saints athletic teams will be heading to the State tournament following Sectional titles over the weekend.
The girls soccer team is co-sectional champions with Spencerport after a 1-1 draw Saturday. After a Penalty Kick shootout win of 4-2, the Saints advance to the regional game.Tessa W had 15 saves + 1 in PKs. The team will take on Frontier at 7:30 on Friday at Spencerport High School.
Our boys soccer team is sectional champions after defeating Penfield in yet another shutout of 2-0. This is the team’s third sectional title in three years. The team now moves on to the regional game against Clarence this Saturday at 7:30 at West Seneca High School.
Our game day cheer team also won the Class B Sectional championship this weekend and will move on to the State Championships at Hudson Valley Community College in Troy on Sunday. Tickets for the event are available online, as well as the performance schedule.
Saints spirits were high Tuesday morning as students and staff at the high school cheered on the sectional champion teams during a school wide parade. Go Saints!
