SHS student honored with Do the Right Thing award

Congratulations to senior high school student, Kaitlyn Pozzuolo, who was honored at the Do the Right Thing award program this February. The program is sponsored by the Rochester Police Department and recognizes students who have gone above and beyond to do the right thing.  

SHS Assistant Principal Steven Colabufo nominated Kaitlyn for the award after she stepped in to help during a medical episode that occurred at school, showing initiative and composure during a stressful situation. 

Kaitlyn was one of fifteen students honored during the event.
