Churchville-Chili athletes shine in state championship competitions

Churchville-Chili student-athletes continue to make us proud on the biggest stages in New York, showing strong teamwork, determination and heart.

Cross Country highlights

  • Rahlin Finch placed 21st in the NY State Championship race. His finish secured a spot in the NY State Federation meet on November 22 in Wappinger Falls.
  • Hannah Khuns earned 52nd place in the NY State Championship race, capping off a strong season.

Girls Soccer historic run

  • The girls soccer team reached the NYS Class AA finals for the first time in school history.
  • The Saints fell 3–0 to a strong Albertus Magnus squad, ending an amazing season filled with hard work and unity.
  • Tessa Wood earned Goalkeeper of the Game.
  • Lexi Olson was named Player of the Game.
  • The team advanced to the finals after a 3–0 win over Warwick Valley in the semifinals.

Boys Soccer makes program history

  • The boys soccer team reached the NYS Class AA Final Four for the first time in school history.
  • Their standout season came to a close with a close 3–2 loss to Cornwall in the semifinals.

Cheer team success

  • The gameday cheer team capped an amazing season with a 4th-place finish in the NY state finals, showcasing their skill, energy, and school spirit.

Diving

  • Seventh grade diver Alyssa Purver competes in the State championships this weekend. Good luck Alyssa!
