UPK Lottery Application now open
The Churchville-Chili School District is now accepting applications for the Universal Prekindergarten (UPK) program for the fall of 2024. The program is anticipated to support approximately 72 children in our school district who will be four years old by December 1, 2024. This UPK opportunity is available at no cost to families who reside within the Churchville-Chili Central School District during the 2024-25 school year.
There will be four full-day classrooms, 5 days/week following the Churchville-Chili school calendar. Selection for the program is based upon a random lottery drawing, and we cannot guarantee placement at any one school as there are a limited number of spaces available at each building.
In order to be considered, you must complete the online application which can be found on the District Website, here. The district must receive your completed application by 5 p.m. on January 12, 2024. Your application will enter your child into the lottery drawing, which will be held on February 1 at 5:30 p.m. Our lottery is random; therefore, all applications will have an equal chance, whether received the first hour they were available or the last hour before the deadline. You can watch the live lottery drawing on the district YouTube Channel.
All applicants will be notified via email by Monday, February 5, 2024 with their building placement or position on the waitlist. Families selected during this process will receive information in the mail to complete the registration process and confirm participation.
For any questions or assistance in completing the form, please contact the Office of Instruction at 585-293-1800 extension 2310.
Completing the application does not guarantee acceptance into the program. Parents on the waitlist will be notified should a space become available.
