Communication Office

The Churchville-Chili Central School District communicates with its students, parents, staff and community members in a variety of ways.

Community Newsletter

The Link is the district's newsletter that provides residents with information about news and events in the schools. It is published in October, December, March, May (budget edition) and July (year-end edition). If you do not receive The Link through the mail, printed copies are available at the District Office and electronic copies are posted here.

Website

The district's website is a valuable tool that provides school and department information, highlights our instructional program, activities/events and contains important links to staff, calendars, menus and policies. In addition, alerts and news stories are regularly posted.

We maintain our website regularly to ensure timely and accurate information. If you have questions or concerns regarding the website, please contact the Communication Office.

Social Media

Our goal for social media is to share news about what goes in in our district and to engage in positive and productive dialogue with our school community (students, staff, families, community members, media, etc.). We value the voices of our community and encourage members to engage with district posts or by creating a social media presence for groups within our district while following our policies and guidelines: Policy 6480.

Media Relations

The Communication Office is the primary contact for all media requests/contacts. The office also writes and disseminates press releases and assists with crisis communication, as needed.

In keeping with our district goal to communicate effectively with stakeholders, emphasizing quality and service, we take pride in sharing news and events from our classrooms and programs. We encourage staff in every building and at every level to submit photos and information about exciting events happening on campus to the Communication Office. We will highlight these activities  on social media, on our website, in our newsletter and with local media outlets.
