Dear Community,
Throughout the school year we will continue to work together to focus upon citizenship through the use of: We are respectful, responsible, and ready! We are thankful for our community and for the continued support of our school budget and capital project work, which provides quality programs and facilities for our students.
During this summer we hired approximately 70 staff members for the 2023-24 school year and look forward to providing four UPK classrooms! This spring and summer, we continued the first phase of our capital project work (roofing, HVAC and transportation flooring). Next year we anticipate beginning the large portion of the middle school renovation work along with construction of new turf baseball and softball fields, including a multi-purpose field, and tennis courts. We are still working with the NYS Department of Transportation for final approval to modify the entrance and exit from the high school on to Buffalo Road to improve the sight lines for our student drivers and overall improvement in traffic flow.
We hope you will enjoy our new website which is more compatible with handheld digital devices and provides easy access to the most requested information through links on the main page. Further, please sign up for district eNews to receive weekly updates highlighting important information, school events, emergency closures, capital project updates and more.
We look forward to our continued partnership with a focus upon providing quality instruction in a safe, secure and supportive environment for all of our students and staff.
Sincerely,
Dr. Lori Orologio

Good afternoon Churchville-Chili families,
Thank you to our Board of Education for everything they do for our students and for the entire Churchville-Chili school community. Though this week is national school board recognition week, our CCCSD BOE works year-round to ensure our students, staff and families have the opportunities and resources to help them be successful.
Red Ribbon Week is a national campaign that takes place every year from October 23-31, encouraging students to remain drug-free. CCCSD will be recognizing Red Ribbon Week by promoting healthy choices and encouraging students to participate in themed days throughout the week. Flyers with the themed days can be found on our website.
Keeping the CCCSD community safe each and every day is one of our most important priorities. Thank you to our Security Department for helping to make this possible. The Security Department is comprised of experienced professionals (many from a law enforcement background), with a myriad of technological and security-based resources at its disposal. Please visit the Security page on our website to read the Churchville-Chili Central School District Fall 2023 Safety and Security Newsletter.
For your awareness, the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, in cooperation with local law enforcement, provides Monroe County residents with OffenderWatch, a sex offender management and notification tool. You can enter any address within the county and see real-time information on the publishable offenders within that area. Please see the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office website for additional information and a link to register to receive email alerts.
Digital Equity Survey: The New York State Education Department is asking school districts across the state to have parents or guardians complete a Digital Equity survey for each student in grades K-12 in an effort to assess the need for access to devices and internet services. To collect accurate data regarding digital resource access for our students, we will be implementing the digital equity survey in November. Please keep an eye out for a mailing from the district for each school-aged child in grades K-4 in early November. Students in grades 5-12 will be able to complete the survey digitally at school.
Senior High School Parents: The High School is seeking parents to relaunch Parents of the Senior High (POSH) this fall. Good afternoon Churchville-Chili families,
We are saddened by the recent attack in Israel and the resulting loss of human lives. As we watch the horrific scenes unfold in the media, we are thinking about our students, families and staff who are profoundly impacted and may be feeling isolated.
Please know that our school district will continue to be a safe space for students to express their feelings and concerns, and our counselors and staff are available to meet their needs. If your child is in need of support, please reach out to their counselor or administrator.
We also want to bring awareness of recent news and other social media platforms that have shared potential safety concerns resulting from the crisis in Israel and Palestine. While our district has not received any such threats, we will continue to focus upon maintaining a safe and secure environment and supporting all students in our school community. We appreciate your partnership, as well as our collaboration with local law enforcement agencies, as we diligently monitor any and all potential risks to our students and staff.
As a reminder, you can use this link www.safeschoolhelpline.com to report any safety concern. As always keep in mind, if you see something, say something.
