Instant Connect Message from Mrs. Hale - 9/14/20

Good Afternoon, this is Principal, Kim Hale, calling on Monday, September 14, with an update and a few reminders.
We are off to a solid start with our new way of teaching and learning at CRS. Thank you for your patience during this time.   Teachers are busy teaching new procedures and routines in the classroom and for remote learners during these early days. The students are responding amazingly and it is awesome to have students back in the building again!

For our families who have selected full remote learning, we have school materials for your child. You can pick these up in the front of Chestnut Ridge this Wednesday, Sept. 16, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. This is for full remote learners only.

Our first days of using PikMyKid for parent pick up have gone rather smoothly. It is very important that you make any changes to your child’s pick up mode no later than 2 p.m. each day. We are learning this new app right along with you, and in order to dismiss the buses and the pick up line as quickly as possible, we need to know of any changes by 2.

Thank you for your continued support and patience!

Instant Connect Message from Principal Kim Hale - 9/9/20

Good Afternoon, this is Principal, Kim Hale, calling on Wednesday, September 9, with a few reminders.

Your child’s teacher has added your child to their Google Classroom. If your child is attending REMOTELY on Thursday morning, have your child log in to their Chromebook and go to Google Classroom to join their class. If possible, do this before tomorrow morning so your child is familiar with their Google Classroom page. Your child’s teacher will post a schedule and the Zoom link in the “Classwork Section”.

This information along with directions on how to log into their chromebook and Google Classroom account can be found on the Chestnut Ridge home page on the district’s website at cccsd.org.

As a reminder, All families need to register with PikMyKid. This is how you will complete your child’s COVID-19 Health attestation each day. If you are picking your child up from school, this is also how we will identify you and have your child ready for pick up at the end of the day.

Directions are available on the Churchville Chili District website at cccsd.org. Click on the Reopening page at the top and then look for the PikMyKid link on the right under “Important Links & Resources”.

Please register today.

There will also be a link on the district webpage for the daily health attestation if a family is unable to load the App on their phone.

And finally – Saints B students who are coming to school tomorrow will need to bring with them their signed Computer Agreement form (blue form that came with your child’s placement mailing) in order for your child to take home a chromebook.
We look forward to starting school tomorrow!
