Monroe County piloting COVID rapid PCR test program - 10/26/21

Monroe County is piloting a COVID rapid PCR test program for students. Beginning 10/26/21, students who meet the following criteria are eligible to schedule a PCR test appointment for return-to-school purposes:
  1. The student must not be in quarantine or isolation.
  2. The student must be fever/symptom free for at least 24 hours, without the use of fever reducing medication.
Your school health office will share a link with parents of eligible children to schedule an appointment at the Monroe County Fleet Center, 145 Paul Road. Please note, this is a pilot test program and appointments are limited.

November 25-29: 1 CRS Students, 3 CRS staff members; 1 CES student; 3 FRS students, 1 FRS staff member; 17 MS students, 1 MS staff member; 5 SHS students, 2 SHS staff members

A special congratulations to our Girls Varsity Cross Country team who finished the 2021 season placing 3rd overall at the Nike NY XC Regional Championship race. Senior McKenna Arguien had the top finish for the Saints.

I also want to congratulate two Saints football players who were selected to play in the Eddie Meath All-Star Football game last week. Seniors Jeffrey Morgan and Jonathan Jeffers helped lead the West to a win over the East with a score of 13-7.  

I would like to invite you to join us on Dec. 10, 2021 at 7 p.m. in Gym A as we honor our 2020/2021 Athletic Hall of Fame Inductees: Gary Boyce (Coach), Mary Pat Dewey (Coach), Luke Pavone (Class of 2013), Leslie Troup (Class of 1987) and the 2003 Boys Varsity Volleyball Team.

The ceremony will be preceded by the Varsity girls basketball vs. Brighton game at 5:30 p.m. and followed by Varsity boys basketball vs. Brighton at 8 p.m.

Please be aware that there is a 2022 school calendar change for the month of April due to the NYS grades 3-8 testing and scoring window. The Superintendent’s Conference day will be held on April 8, 2022 and school will be in session on April 29, 2022.

On November 9, 2021, the Board of Education authorized a referendum for a January 11, 2022 vote for a Phase VI capital project. Presentations are ongoing; however, if you would like to learn more about the project you can find it on the Capital Project page of our website.
