The Churchville-Chili School District is opening a lottery -based Universal Prekindergarten (UPK) program in the fall. The program will support approximately 54 children in our school district who will be four years old by December 1, 2021. This UPK opportunity is available at no cost to families who reside within the Churchville-Chili Central School District during the 2021-22 school year.
There will be three full-day classrooms, one at each of our elementary schools, 5 days/week following the Churchville-Chili school calendar. Start and end times for the UPK instructional day will be determined by July. Selection for the program is based upon a random lottery drawing, and we cannot guarantee placement at any one school as there are a limited number of spaces available at each building.
The application process for the lottery drawing is complete. The lottery was held on June 3, 2021 and can be viewed here on our YouTube channel. You can also check this list to see where your application was placed based on the lottery drawing.
All applicants will be notified via email by Monday, June 7, 2021 with their building placement or position on the waitlist. Families who are selected during this process will receive information via email to complete the registration process and confirm participation.
For any questions or assistance in completing the form, please contact the Office of Instruction at 585-293-1800 extension 2310.
Completing the application does not guarantee acceptance into this program. Parents on the waitlist will be notified should a space become available. Once the lottery drawing is complete anyone who is qualified can asked to be placed at the bottom ohe waiting list for the upcoming school year.
