1,000 Books Before Kindergarten

The Churchville-Chili Central School District together with our neighboring school districts of Gates Chili and Wheatland-Chili and the Scottsville Public Library, Gates Public Library, Churchville Public Library and Newman Riga Public Library invite families to participate in 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten.

Parents are invited to sign up for 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten at the Chili or at the Newman Riga Libraries. Children from birth to age 5 will receive a reading log to track the books they read together with their parents, siblings, grandparents and at library story time. A prize is given at each 50 book milestone. The goal is to read 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten.
