Career internships are available for juniors and seniors. Internships are unpaid, and offer students hands on work experience with a mentor in the community. They are customized to meet the needs and interests of each student. Students have been placed in the fields of education, medicine, physical therapy, politics, veterinarian, engineering, broadcasting, entrepreneurship, and more. Students can earn up to one credit by completing 108 hours in an internship, or ½ credit for 54 hours. These can be done during the school year, or over the summer.
Procedures to Follow Prior to Placement:
1. Obtain an internship application. Applications can be obtained from the College and Career Center.
2. Submit your completed application and a resume to Mrs. Martin or Mrs. Maher in the College and Career Center.
