Please take notice that the Board will conduct the May 26, 2020 Public Hearing on the Proposed 2020-21 School Budget by video conference. In-person attendance will NOT be permitted. The decision to meet via video conference has been made in accordance with Governor Cuomo’s Executive Order 202 relating to the COVID-19 emergency modified as such:
Article 7 of the Public Officers Law, to the extent necessary to permit any public body to meet and take such actions authorized by the law without permitting in public in-person access to meetings and authorizing such meetings to be held remotely by conference call or similar service, provided that the public has the ability to view or listen to such proceeding and that such meetings are recorded and later transcribed.
The video conferencing will be used by the Board of Education through Zoom Video Communications and live streamed through Ensemble. Click below to watch the hearing live on May 26, 2020, beginning at 7 p.m. A recording of the meeting will be posted below at a later date.
Community members will have the opportunity to submit questions through the use of a Google Form during the meeting, in real time. Questions posed will be read outloud during the questions portion of the presentation.
