The Churchville-Chili Music Department has distinguished itself throughout the years at local, state, national, and international events. Our commitment is to bring the finest possible music education to our students throughout the school year. Attending one of our excellent high school musical productions is an anticipated event. The highlight of each year is the June Community Music Festival which features performances by most of our district ensembles.
The music education of our students begins with classroom music instruction in kindergarten and continues through grade 6. All students participate in chorus in grade 3 and, beginning in grade 4, may elect to participate in chorus and/or band. Students in grades 5-12 may choose to participate in extra-curricular jazz bands, show choirs, and/or music theatre productions. At the SHS, music course electives expand to include Piano, Guitar, Voice, AP Music Theory, and Music Works (a SH honors music course).
Our music program is one of the “stars” of the Churchville-Chili School District and our community. If you have any questions or would like more information about our music program please call 293-1800 Ext: 3520 or e-mail Rich Dunham, Director of Fine Arts at firstname.lastname@example.org
See the sub page "Music Calendar" for a listing of events.
