Background & Vision

Since the fall of 1993, the Music Boosters has been active in supporting Churchville-Chili  music programs. All parents of music students in grades 5 through 12 as well as other interested parents and community members can be involved in Music Boosters.

The general purpose of the Music Booster is to provide support to the music program in such a way as to encourage the program’s growth and success.  Music Boosters is self-supporting and finances all its activities through limited fund raising.  This year we will provide receptions after each of the winter and spring concerts, organize another Community Music Festival, assist with student fund raisers, help with the spring theatre productions, and continue to aid the music program in any way necessary.  In the past, large-scale projects have included major upgrades to the acoustics and digital recording facilities at the High School auditorium and a new district-wide costume storage facility. 

Music Boosters is also very proud to grant a scholarship each year to a graduating senior who has demonstrated outstanding leadership, service, and musicianship in the Senior High School music program.

On the grand scale, Music Booster strives to raise the level of appreciation and involvement of the community in our music program.  We provide a comfortable and pleasant networking source for parents and friends to work together in the community through our meetings, volunteer opportunities and Music Booster e-mail list (see eNews link below). We invite you to take the opportunity to positively influence your student’s school experience in a way that is fun and rewarding to you, too!
