C-C students explore U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C.

American History and U.S. Government & Economics classes have taken on real-world meaning for our 42 students from grades 11 and 12 who recently returned from a whirlwind tour of Washington, D.C. Students clocked in over 29.6 miles of walking over the three days. They began in the Capitol, where they observed both the Senate and the House of Representatives in session. Congratulations to seniors Leighann Pettis and Ryan Cosgrove who recently signed National Letters of Intent for Division II universities.Pitcher Pettis is a three-year All-County selection: First Team in 2013 and All-Greater Rochester in 2014.
