The Rochester Council of Scientific Societies (RCSS) recently announced that Churchville Elementary School’s Sprucewood Nature Center was awarded a $250 minigrant. The funds will be used to purchase new, park-quality interpretive signs that will enhance hiker awareness of the interesting and unique features of each Sprucewood nature trail. The 16th Annual Air Guitar/Senior High Talent Show will be held Friday, April 10 at 7 p.m. in C-C PAC in the Senior High School. Kostarellis and Siracusa finish strong at the Armory in NYC

This weekend, Anna Kostarellis and Alex Siracusa competed in the New Balance National Championships at the Armory in New York City.Anna competed in the Emerging Elite 2 Mile on Friday, March 13. She placed fifth out of 30 competitors and earned a medal for her Top-6 finish. It was one of her best races ever and is a new school record for two miles.
