Even Day 4

Mrs. Grocki-Bareham classes are meeting in the South Library all this week.

Attention all Modified Track Athletes: Today’s practice has been cancelled. Just a reminder that we will host a track meet here against Spencerport on Monday.

Mod. B softball defeated Odyssey yesterday 16-13.  Catcher Marley Hand started the Lady Saints off with an amazing home run and a double followed by our winning pitcher Jess Ficarella who had a double and a triple.  Katelyn Lesser kept the hits going with her own double while Taylor Fergi, Piper Piotrowicz, and Buttons all singled.  Hand and Temperato both ended the game with RBIs while Sanchez, Leastman, Kipfer, and Ellis did an exceptional job in the field.  Great job Lady Saints!

Attention 5^th and 6^th grade boys and girls. There will be swimming intramurals afterschool on Monday and Tuesdays for the next four weeks starting this Monday, May 20^th. The high school varsity coach and some varsity swimmers will be available to teach you some swimming skills. There will be a mini swim meet on Tuesday, June 11^th to show off the skills you learned! If you are interested in splashing around the pool for fun, you are welcome too!

SCHOOL SUPPLY KITS FOR THE 2013 – 2014 SCHOOL YEAR WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR ORDER SOON!

Order forms will be coming home with your children at the end of May and will be due back to the MS main office by 2pm on Monday, June 3^rd.  We are offering pre-packaged supply kits based on the approved list of supplies for each grade level.  You can view the lists on the district website.  The order form will also offer instructions on how to order on line.  NO ORDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER JUNE 3RD.  Please contact Brooke Wergin at 594-5434 or brooke.wergin@ftr.com with any questions.

Information For Parents/Guardians

“Open Wrestling Mats" will be held every Wednesday and Thursday evening from 6:00 to 7:30 pm in High School Gym B for any students in grades 7 and 8 interested in the sport of wrestling. All experience levels are welcome!

Attention all boys in grades 5 through 8. The Boys Basketball Program is running a basketball camp the first week of summer, June 24th through June 28th. The camp will focus on individual and team fundamentals for basketball. Please see Mr. Miller or your Physical Education Teacher for a camp form. Don’t miss out on this opportunity!

Any one ages 9-14 interested in the Riga Hit, Pitch and Run Competition, please pick up a registration form in the Middle school information area in the lobby near door #20. Registration begins at 9:00 AM on Saturday, May 11 at the Sanford Road Park. Come out and try your skill.

5/6 Service Club will be collecting pop top tabs for the Ronald McDonald House in Rochester. There is a container on the table in the front foyer of the Middle School North to put them in. Please remove your tabs and bring them to help out families in our area with sick children. Families stay for free at the Ronald McDonald house when their children are in the hospital. Service Club will be collecting the tabs for the rest of the school year. Thank you for your support.

Box Tops for Education and Labels 4 Education

This program is easy and free!! This project will be part of PTO fundraising and the monies will be used for PTO activities for the students in CCMS. Box Tops may be dropped off in each of the Middle school offices, Mrs. Amory’s classroom (N225) or mailed to the school.
