Volunteer Opportunities

Throughout the course of the year we need volunteers for the following:

  • Fun Nights - we need parent volunteers either after school (2:45-5pm) or in the evening (6-8pm).
  • Book Fairs - we need parent volunteers during the school day as well as during any evening events.  There are usually a fall and spring book fair.
  • Fund Raisers - we need help with product distribution.  This is usually a Friday afternoon to unload and organize the product, Friday evening for product pickup, and Saturday morning and afternoon for product pickup. Fall fundraiser pickup is usually in November and spring pickup is in March/April.
  • Staff Appreciation Luncheon - This event is at the end of the school year. We need volunteers to contribute food items, usually dessert, and help serve food.
There are also events that occur during the school year that the PTO is asked to support by supplying volunteers.  Some of the events in the past we have been asked to supply for volunteers for are:
  • Read Across America
  • Starbooks Cafe
  • Field Days
