Our school has a rich history. Built in 1937 as a Works Progress Administration Project, this project helped put people back to work during the Depression. The school was built as the Union Free School District No. 4 and served grades 1-12. When Churchville-Chili Central School district was established in 1950, the CES school building was the district school, providing education for grades 1-12. Many unique programs and projects at CES strengthen student learning.
