Lead by Dr. Bonnie C. Whitney, Director of Pupil Services, this department strives to maintain and continuously improve student academic achievement through the provision of: special education services, and other special services. The department includes the expertise of nurses, guidance counselors, school psychologists, special education teachers, as well as occupational, physical, and speech language therapists.

In addition to providing pupil services, the department strives to maintain the safety and well being of our students by facilitating our district-wide Discipline Committee. The committee includes board members, teachers, counselors and administrators. Their goal is to review data on disciplinary incidences and then work with the various schools on developing action plans to address disciplinary concerns. This district-wide committee provides an opportunity to share effective practices and allows for a consistent method to collect and quantify data.

Pupil Services also addresses questions concerning attendance, homelessness, homeschooling and registration of students within the district.
